I have a friend who allowed her children to use use their computers, iPads, IPhones and whatever else they had for however long they wanted. They would eat with thieir little faces glued to the screen. They never went outside... They would ever go to bed with it and watch until they fell asleep. I find it really sad that children now have a better relationship with their screens than they do parents!]]>

My mum once took us kids shopping, I was about 7. She liked the gardening section which bored me silly. So I told her I was going to the toy section to look at toys. I was looking and playing with some toys whenI got hungry. I went to the garden section to hurry her up, and she was gone. I looked around the store but couldn't find her. After looking around for a while, i went to the service desk to ask them to page her but she didn't respond. After a while mum came running to the desk. She explained she had taken the kids home and thought i was with them. She didn't realise i had been left behind until she noticed my lunch had gone uneaten - She was home for almost 2 hours! She never let any of us go wandering alone in a store again! ]]>
