What pets do you have?

I have a friend who is in her late 40's who focused on her career and never had children. She has just married for the first time and she and her husband have decided to try to start a family. She's aware that it may be a difficult journey but they want to try. She's not worried that they may be too old. She's fit and healthy and believes age doesn't matter.

We see older men become fathers all the time. Many celebs have had children late in life. And they don't see a problem.

How old do you think is too old to have a baby?

How much screentime do you allow your kids to have? How much is too much?

I have a friend who allowed her children to use use their computers, iPads, IPhones and whatever else they had for however long they wanted. They would eat with thieir little faces glued to the screen. They never went outside... They would ever go to bed with it and watch until they fell asleep. I find it really sad that children now have a better relationship with their screens than they do parents!

Do you have a funny parenting fail ? Something you feel bad or embarrassed about?

My mum once took us kids shopping, I was about 7. She liked the gardening section which bored me silly. So I told her I was going to the toy section to look at toys. I was looking and playing with some toys whenI got hungry. I went to the garden section to hurry her up, and she was gone. I looked around the store but couldn't find her. After looking around for a while, i went to the service desk to ask them to page her but she didn't respond. After a while mum came running to the desk. She explained she had taken the kids home and thought i was with them. She didn't realise i had been left behind until she noticed my lunch had gone uneaten - She was home for almost 2 hours! She never let any of us go wandering alone in a store again!

What is the hardest part of parenting?
